“Room, bed, and pillows were comfortable. Staff turning down the bed was luxurious. Woman at desk told us how to take a ferry and tram downtown which saved us a lot of time. The food and ambiance of the whole property were just magical.”

“People who complain the hotel is not "in" the palace are nit-picking. It is a few meters from the palace and our room looked out over the roof and one of the inner gardens of the palace. The entrances to both the palace and the garden are, at most, a 1 minute walk away. The hotel is very attractive inside and somewhat plain but not unattractive outside. The service was friendly and helpful, and they had a secure dry place overnight for our tandem bicycle in a locked bicycle garage. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We really appreciated being able to check in and then spend a relaxed time in the palace gardens, which are well worth seeing.”
“They actually had edible gluten free bread rolls for my wife! The service staff in the dining room were clearly informed about the Gluten and Lactose intollerance of my wife, so they were prepared and offered the alternative directly to my wife - everybody knows this makes you feel special!”
“Die ruhige und exklusive Lage, der sehr persönliche Service sowie das Restaurant sind sehr gut. Von November bis März braucht man keinen Eintritt in den Schlosspark bezahlen. Der kostenfreie Parkplatz ist direkt am Haus. Das Internet war sehr schnell uns überall im Haus verfügbar.”
