“Situated next to the beach. Very big room with good AC. But Hagi is a sleepy place in the evenings!”
“Nice hotel, clean and comfy. BUT The window wasn't well sound proofed. My room has no sea view and it faced to the road and it was quite noisy when the car pass. Reception staffs were a bit cold, perhaps they were afraid to speak English.”
“Lovely place for couples wanting a romantic retreat.”
“It's my 3rd or 4th time staying here. Wifi is good. Room is spacious. I stayed in the Twin Room with 2 single beds. Views of the ocean are lovely. Hagi's Onsen H2O is a bit salty, so I like to gargle with it. There are extra pillows on each floor. Breakfast is heavy on veggies, and the taste really agrees with me. Despite the heavy wind and rain outside, my room was warm and I slept like a baby.”
“The room was gorgeous; neat, everything I needed, and cozy. I also liked the late night television shows. There's an onsen in the hotel as well. Also, you're right next to the ocean, so the view is spectacular, especially from the lobby.”
“Right on the beach. Excellent value and volume for breakfast. Slightly salty Onsen tightens the skin. Liked the selection of pillows. I slept well on the Tempur pillow. Try to get an ocean-facing room.”
“Excellent position in front of the beautiful hagi Beach. Pleasant massage chairs available”
“Very close to Hagi Castle and the CBD. I booked the oceanview room, which is spacious with a lanai facing the sea. Sandy beach begs you to walk or play in the surf; lots of fishes swimming in the clear waters. Staff are very friendly, and accommodating. Wifi signal in the room is strong! Japanese breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The onsen tastes a bit salty, but feels great on the skin. Bicycles available for rent at JPY 150/hour”
“This recently constructed ryokan has both traditional and western style rooms and furnishings The ryokan is well located right on the beach and within walking distance of the castle ruins and samurai area. Although some distance from the Hagi "CBD", this is not a great loss as this part of Hagi is not a major attraction. The ryokan is a taxi ride from the station (850 yen).. The staff are friendly and cheerful and while there is little English spoken this is no great problem. The included . dinner and breakfast were of a high standard. I would highly recommend choosing a room with a view over the sea.”
“部屋が割合広く、広いベランダから湾曲した美しい浜が見える。 露天風呂もシービュー。ベッドが良い人におすすめ。”
