“Booked for NON-SMOKING room. Got there late evening about 9 pm. Room stunk of cigarettes. Told the front desk person, she offered two other rooms, both also smelled of cigarettes. To her credit, she offered to refund our money, but what do you do in the middle of the night after driving hours? Go knock on hotel doors? was not happy about this experience.”
“Good value budget hotel. Well located for both town, freeway and skyline drive. Staff extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful”
“Very clean and essential room, good value for money.”
“Near Shenandoah NP. Standard $60 motel, decent sized rooms.”
“The (I assume) owner seems to be trying to improve the property. Staff was friendly.”
“Clean room with basic amenities at a good location near skyline Dr.”
“Super friendly staff, simple, clean and VERY reasonably priced. Great recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. Stay here with confidence and understand this is NOT a five star resort. It is a simple & clean place to sleep. Make sure to check out L'Dee's Pancake House & drive Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park!”
“The room was clean, tv worked fine. Other than these, overall it was pretty good.”
“Friendly staff. Nice TV, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker w/coffee, alarm clock/radio and phone. Towels were adequate. Room freshly painted this past winter. The room was standard size, 2 double beds. Clean bathroom. Clean sheets and comforter. About 1 mile north of Main Street - could be walked - but we didn't. Great value for the money. I've been to worse places where I've paid almost double the money. Perfect for a one or two night stay.”
“The owner/ reception was very nice and smiley. Room was clean, freshly painted. Outside outdated, needs a better curb appeal, but all other hotels in this area are in the same older condition, so don't go by that!its right on a through way so a bit noisy after 8 am, but not bad as I slept in til 9:30 both days and we had 202 which faces right to front of the road and traffic.”
