“I’ve been coming here for several years, but each visit since it has progressively gotten worse, largely due to F&B operations and obvious refocus on 100% domestic tourists rather than 80% domestic and 20% international . Sadly, this is my last time here in the beautiful private Myanmar private pool villas. While the housekeeping and pool maintenance staff, and duty manager “Tony” have all been very, very good, the F&B department has destroyed this resort, as indicated by the other reviews too. THE GOOD: The villa layout, privacy and private pools (and of course leaving the property forever). BEST ROOMS: Myanmar Villa’s offer great value for money. Ensure the villa / pool is fully functional (including AC) on arrival however, and move until you get one that meets your needs.”
“The reception staff, Tiger, was most helpful in our checking in process. We had booked a week stay at another resort at Sanya Bay and mid-week, we wanted a change of location for one night whilst keeping our room at the other resort. The system did not allow us to register at Pullman. Tiger was very patient and helpful. He spoke at length, to the manager at the Sanya resort and our Singapore agent to resolve the rather complex issue. Breakfast was decent and reasonably packaged with the villa rates.”
