“The restaurant offered great choice for breakfast and dinner and the latter was competitively priced. The pool area was a good combination of easy access with lots of semi-private areas with many sunbeds. Pool towels were free on payment of a returnable deposit. The hourly bus service to the centre of the resort was also free. Cleanliness was superb throughout the hotel and grounds. The tennis court was good value although not always readily available. Evening entertainment was regular and of hotel standard with a good dance floor and waiter service available. Staff were consistently pleasant and efficient and for example the reception sorted a dodgy room fridge within 10 minutes. Puerto de la Cruz has a great variety of eating houses and tapas bars.”
