“After a late flight and an hour's drive, we arrived to find the sofabed had been made up ready for use, which was a most welcome. The hotel is more like a guesthouse in size, perfectly clean and with lovely views of the surrounding hills. We visited in October and could imagine it is perfect all through the year. Quite difficult to get to without a car. If flying to Basel, book a car hire from the Mulhouse (French) side and NOT the Basel (Swiss) side as it will be a third of the price! Breakfast was delicious, as was the dinner in the restaurant. I would most definitely return even though it was a little pricey? Thank you for your hospitality.”

“Such a lovely place in every way - we only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We were made to feel welcome and we had an amazing dinner sat outside on the terrace which was good value for money. An exceptional breakfast and a lovely play area for children. We went for a lovely bike ride and it is a great base for walking up to Shauinsland. We hope to be able to visit again.”

“Large comfortable room with separate sitting area and kitchenette. The breakfast buffet was excellent as was our dinner in the restaurant. The owner and staff were all extremely nice and requests for an additional pillow was immediately taken care of. Free parking in front of the house was an added benefit ”
