What guests loved the most

“we stayed here to view a boat for sale on the canal . It was a bank holiday and most places were shut but we were made to feel very welcome and the owner couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Lovely clean new rooms and great views . The place was warm uncluttered and unfussy, Food here was brilliant cooked and served by the owner and staff. Best hotel Ive stayed in that I can remember at a sensible price.Bravo,,,,......... Loved the wacky furniture on the landings.”

“This was a great discovery: a very new hotel open this year (2017: some work not quite finished but this did not impact negatively) converted with taste and skill from an old building with high quality minimalist new interior sitting well with the retained old. Room very comfortable. Parking good and Garden to rear charming. Just off centre of town but within easy walking distance. We arrived a day ahead of booking which was changed very helpfully. We had already booked to eat in the town but the restaurant looked inviting.”

“A very pleasant, small hotel in the centre of the town but with a very good restaurant attached which if also used by locals - good sign.”

, United Kingdom

“The hotel owner is fab and on the ball! We had 2 rooms, both facing the garden, very spacious with all the required amenities. There is a pool and plenty of outside patio space to relax and have a drink.”

, United Kingdom

“Friendliness and professionalism of owner and quality of linen, towels and equipment in room and bathroom.”

, United Kingdom

“The air conditioning and the cleanliness. The hotel was immaculate.”

“This hotel is a small gem. It is an historic town house wholly and tastefully modernised , and is extremely well run by Carole, the owner. The room was very well equipped in a style suited to the summer heat of the area. There is secure parking within the garden to the rear of the property, which is well signed. The small swimming pool was a bonus for us! The food in the small and intimate restaurant is of outstanding quality. Carole put herself out to make us welcome and to help us enjoy exploring the region.”
