“The bathroom had a shower but I couldn't get it to work but no probs - I simply used the bath. The shaver point did not work but I had no problem living with a bit of stubble. The bedroom could have done with a folding table arrangement to place the suitcase on. I didn't use the TV except on the last night when I just wanted to check the football score (Norwich v Arsenal) but the remote didn;t work (batteries?). I could have asked at reception I suppose but not a problem really, and I got the score (we lost!) next morning on the TV in the lounge. I have to say that the food was exquisite! I thought I was eating meals in the Savoy! I travel the world & your chef is in the top two! Wish to know his name so that next time I book I want to make sure he is on duty still - or I am not coming (!) One of your waitresses even got me a 'doggy bag' when I had a surfeit of cheese from the platter - excellent service. The décor in the lounge is also excellent.”
