“My wife and I met at this hotel in Shanghai so decided to stay there for the evening to celebrate our 10 year anniversary (we live in Shanghai). We made a special request/note saying it we met in the hotel, 10 year anniversary, could they provide some champagne on arrival for example but this was completely ignored. In fact every special request I've ever made on booking.com has been ignored by the hotel. The room was really poor value for money and the hotel just felt old. We parked the car in what we believed was the hotels parking lot (it belongs to the office building which is part of the same complex) so only received a voucher for a maximum of 3 hours parking. 5 Star Hotel, 2 Star service, for the room price they could easily include parking. We didn't let it spoil the stay, but we should've just gotten a taxi and taken pictures in the bar as a memento of 10 years, nothing was done to make us feel special.”
“Perfect location for my wife to access Shanghai whilst I was working. Extremely helpful and attentive staff. Good choice of food. Most of the staff spoke good English. Cost about what I would expect to pay. Special mention for Anna in the bar restaurant and Annie in the buffet dinner who were both excellent.”
