“Great location. Amazing host! Rene met us at the door at 6:30am after an overnight bus ride. He showed us to our room and brought us some bread and jam. Then helped us arrange tours for he next day. Very hospitable and made our stay great!”

“The property was in a great location, just a couple of blocks from the main square, very useful for enjoying the city.The view from the breakfast room at the top of the building was fantastic , looking over the city to the lake.We had a late bus at 9pm when we left and we were allowed to stay in the room all the time until then, of this we were very thankful, we also booked a couple of tours through the hotel with were great value for money. They were an overnight stay on Antamani island, (the hotel looked after our big bags during this time, in fact they were kept locked into our room, which we returned to.) The other trip was a few hours to some inca burial grounds. They were both great.The wi-fi was very good, good enough to stream movies.”

“The breakfast was amazing. It is available for an extra fee, but it is completely worth it. There is fresh bread, fresh papaya juice, avocado, cereals yogurt and more available. The place is very clean! towels are given to you as is a toilet roll, and soap. It is also a 2 minute walk to the Plaza. Good internet and television! When I first arrived, I could not tell if the place was open or not, because there was no doorbell. Rene, the owner, told me that he just opened his hostel not too long ago so maybe it is in the works to have this fixed. Make sure you knock on the door loud and be patient! Someone is always around. You can also message him on the # listed on the booking page through WhatsApp. Rene, the owner, helped me with everything from booking a tour of the Titicaca lake to tips with checking counterfeit notes. He is working on setting up a restaurant and a reception on the ground floor. I will come back to Puno and definitely stay here again”

“A good hostel located right next to the Cathedral. Clean and big rooms, hot water, quiet, and good wifi. The terraces have good views of the city. Rene was very welcoming and helpful , and we had a good conversation while waiting for our night bus. ”
