“A lovely small country hotel in a very peaceful setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, nicely furnished and very clean. But the restaurant makes the place. The service was excellent, the food likewise, and the wine outstanding, and a fire in the open fireplace was perfect. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended.”

“The hotel stands in its own grounds, it is easy to find and has good parking. It has a nice swimming pool, which was a welcome bonus on a hot day. The bedroom was a good size and clean and comfortable. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a very nice outside sitting area, overlooking the grounds.”
