“This is a charming small hotel in lovely Diessen am Ammersee. The interior has been updated and is contemporary and very clean. The included breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located very close to the train station and is a short walk to the shores of the Ammersee. We loved our stay!”
“The hotel was comfortable, clean, and modern with generously sized rooms and solid water pressure in the showers. It was a good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave good tips for local restaurants and sightseeing attractions such as the Zinn Cafe, a small cafe in the back of a store where beautiful pewter figures have been produced for over 220 years. The Marionmuenster church at the top of the hill is stunningly beautiful and also worth a visit. The town & hotel were quiet and peaceful when we visited in the winter. But this would be a fabulous place to stay in the summer, just steps from the train station (~1 hr from Munich) and a short walk from the shore of Lake Ammersee. There are trails for hiking and biking. In summer you can take a boat across the lake to the town of Herrsching, which is a short bus ride from the famous Kloster Andechs brewery. World famous beer + no driving = what's not to like?”
