“With this hotel you are right in the heart of what Céret always meant — the very and truly Southern village whose incredible charm attracted Soutine, Picasso and all the other artists. Of course, it is very crowded today, even off season (we stayed there end of October), but the charm is really unspoilable. French breakfast at the hotel — as opposed to the more substantial "continental" — is simply delicious, and the croissants are ordered from the baker next door every evening, depending on the number of guests (the butter, jams and juices that accompany it are also all local and bio), and coffee is what it should be — a matter taken very seriously.”
“Very helpful staff with good English. Great location in lovely central square. Secure locked storage for our bikes (in camera monitored underground car park). The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - maybe slightly dated, but we actually found that quite charming. Great restaurant immediately opposite the hotel.”
“The managing couple were very, very helpful. The premises is more like a 3 star. We were in a room for 4 so we could use the twin beds which were very good. The double in the corner, too soft by half! But a big room, central situation, breakfast, parking. Very good. We also negotiated a price to use a kettle and fridge in the 'kitchenette'. Loved the shutters on the windows.”
“We can't wait to go back! The hotel is in our favourite square ( the Saturday market is amazing ) The bar next door has tables outside and we love to sit there at all times of the day and evening . Breakfast was fine and in the summer is taken on a lovely vine covered terrace. Lots of god restaurants in easy walking distance. The staff were wonderful, everything you asked for was provided with a smile and the whole experience was memorable.”
“The location in the middle of the village with its special flair of art was a wonderful expericnece. The young owners speack French and English and are polite and very friendly. Breakfast was like usual in France, and we got extra milk and bred together with coffee, Croissant, butter, ... no egg or bacon. But it was enough. Our room at 4th floor with lift was clean, with a little balcony and beautyful view over roofs to the mountains. The mattresses wher new an comfortable. We had an exellent one-night-stay for a good price!”
“Basic, comfortable french hotel in an excellent location. Recommended - good value for money”
“Nice old town, the hotel is in the centre. Parking underneath the hotel worth the €6.00 Hotel a little dated . Didn't have breakfast so can t comment. Staff were friendly.”
“Central position. Friendly. Good cleaning every day.”
“Central location could not be better. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
“Location...in the heart of this gorgeous little town. Our room overlooked a bustling street. A great experience!”
