What guests loved the most
“In most hotels today, buffet breakfasts are unfortunately the norm. Therefore, and no matter how good (or not so good) the food is, ones breakfast is interrupted by the repeated walks back and forth to the buffet. And then its someone else's turn to disturb what should be the peace of the breakfast table. Much to our surprise and delight, this was not the case at Hotel am Schloss Wolfshagen where the breakfast table was not only bedecked with white linen and fine bone china but set for four with fresh bread rolls and pastries, a selection of cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit and fruit juice, a teapot and stove and so on. The hotelier himself took our orders for eggs--boiled, poached or scrambled--and asked if he would like muesli or yoghurt. The quality of the breakfast, its presentation and the way it was served made our stay at Hotel am Schloss Wolfshagen not only memorable but something we look forward to repeating next year on our anniversary.”

“We sought out a refuge on the journey and surely got it. Comfort, quiet, clean. The breakfast is lovely and you can specify your preference (homemade jam and apple juice amongst other things), they have a small evening menu in the more traditional end of the German kitchen - and its well prepared. The owners are polite and professional. The wifi is good and can even be used in the lovely garden.”
