“Hotel is very pretty in an old Bavarian style look. Schliersee is a small town (cheaper and less crowded than nearby Tegernsee) and the hotel is right in the middle, not more than 5 min walking from other restaurants and the lake. Morning breakfast was light and the staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to a large room which was a nice surprise!”
“We stayed at this hotel as part of driving the Alpine Road. First impressions were great and the room we had - fourth floor at the front, did not disappoint - it has a lovely balcony. The room was very spacious and had a separate bedroom. It was clean and well appointed. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and whilst they did not have an English menu, one of the waiters spent time with us translating the entire menu. Breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. The hotel is in a lovely location, a few minutes walk to the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”
