“The property was a standard place. It had a good location for getting to the next stop on our journey. It had nice bio friendly toiletries. The breakfast was standard, started with coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, watermelon, melon, toasted bread, strawberry and apricot jam, butter, cheese and jamon serrano. very standard breakfast served in a nice dining area. A good place to stop for a night if you are in the area.”

Restaurant is worth trying, specially the set menu is a great option. There is great walking options close to the hotel, including a via verde passing by the town which is ideal for running/jogging.”

“We loved it. The Roturos is the hub of the lovely, lively village of Maetsu for good reason. It is always welcoming, relaxed, with lovely staff and open all hours for very good food and drink for villagers and visitors alike. It is run by the indefatigable husband and wife team of Habi and Katya who cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts are always fresh and locally produced with variation from day to day. Dinners are delectable with a most affordable menu which changes every day, the chef excelling himself with imaginative dishes for the three courses. Our room was large, comfortable and immaculate with views over the mountains and surrounding old village. We felt right at home from the moment we got there and for the five nights we stayed. Thank you, Habi, Katya and the Roturos team.”
