“Very nice rooms, spacious and good breakfast. Very helpful staff and close to the hiking trails. To be recommended.”
“The hotel provides for bed and breakfast only and the breakfast was disappointing. With regard to the room, this was quite large and comfortable although fairly basic.”
“Staff provide good information for trekking. The hotel is located near the entrance of the trek point. The room was big.”
“Hotel is located right in the downtown section of El Chalten, within easy walking distance of multiple trailheads, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store/market. Breakfast was good every day and offered staples of deli meats and cheeses, breads, cereals, coffee, tea, and juices. Beds were pretty comfortable and hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.”
“On arrival we found out there was a problem with the room we had reserved, but they had already booked us another room in another nearby hotel. It was a nicer place, and we enjoyed the free upgrade. In our little experience, we found out that the staff of the Poincerot was very friendly and the management does know how to keep customers happy, even in adverse situations like this. Not a very common trait in Argentina, sadly. It was a shame we couldn't stay in the Poincerot. Next time we surely will!”
“Clean, comfortable and modern. Very close to trail start for Laguna de los tres and Laguna Torre. Helpful staff. Strong wifi”
“I expected something worse for this price in Patagonia but this is Great value for moneyQuiet good wifi comparing to other places in Patagonia - we could manage many things in this hotelNice, helpful staffHotel very cleanNice locationWarm room”
“Very pleasant hosts and able to check in early and get into the room quickly. Very clean room (though smelt very strongly of cleaning products for a while). Great extensive breakfast. Good hot shower. Near the trail heads of Lake Capri walk and next to Chalten Travel.”
“Loved the wooden details/staircase. Good variety at breakfast. Safe in room.”
“Well furnished, clean and comfortable Helpful staff Accepts credit card (not common in El Chalten!)”
