“This is a rare gem of a small hotel, right in the centre of the town. The railway and bus stations are within easy walking distance. The shops and restaurants are your neighbours. The hotel is squeaky clean. The rooms are accessible by a lift. The decor is simple, light and airy. The bedlinen is good quality. The small balcony in our room had beautiful views of the mountains beyond the town, and the french windows were double-glazed and well sound-proofed. We would stay again! This hotel offers exceptional value for money. We would rate it well above its 1* rating! The breakfasts are taken in the cafe/bar on the ground floor. Excellent simple food at sensible prices. The cafe was well-frequented by the locals, including the police officers! We had a wonderful two nights stay!”
