“Probably a development of an older hotel, the interior and exterior were traditional in finish. Town centre location meant that street noise was still going on until about 3am. We picked the weekend of the fourth annual running festival! Good fun though. Great atmosphere!”

“Centrally located with secure overnight parking approx. 200 metres away. Single rooms were adequate and nicely appointed. Shower pressure excellent. Internal walls are a little thin so you might suffer a little with noisy neighbours. Nice 'old worldy' feel to the décor of common parts.”

“Extremely helpful staff. We were shown a choice of rooms and opted for the bigger bed rather than the better view. The antique decor in public areas was intriguing and the whole place felt clean and comfortable, even smelling sweet compared to some hotels we have recently visited. Not causing too much inconvenience, 24hrs public parking is just 200m from the hotel and cost only 9€.”
