“This was my third time staying at Hotel Escorial and each time has been a great hotel experience. The location by far is very appealing, only a five minute walk to the central plaza of Manizales. The staff are exceptional, very accommodating...from the front desk reception, answering questions about directions, places to visit and arranging tours to assistance with luggage and polite exchanges with the cleaning staff. The hotel has wonderful quality, an 80 year old hotel that retains its charm but offers modern amenities. The rooms are spacious, the showers hot and plenty of storage space. The decorations in the lobby to the stairs and hallways range from antique to modern art... a great combination which is characteristic of Manizales itself. The breakfast served in the dining room with a vaulted ceiling reaching the fourth floor was clean and the service prompt, the food delicious and fresh. I highly recommend Hotel Escorial to visitors to Manizales.”

“Me gustó el sector donde se encuentra ubicado, muy cerca de la catedral, del teleférico, hay un centro comercial cerca (fundadores) es un hotel muy central, también queda muy cerca de Chipre. De igual forma es muy tranquilo para descansar. Su arquitectura es historica y tratan de mantenerla muy bien en el tiempo. Sus muebles no son modernos. El desayuno que ofrecen es muy bueno.”
