“We loved our stay in this cute and kitschy (and gold! And ornate! Did I mention gold?!) place. Great location for us, staff was terrific and helpful, I truly wish we had stayed longer in Vitoria and at Dato. We sprung for the little balcony- so fun at night all lit up (and while enjoying a nightcap)! We initially had some concerns about street noise given we were there for the Real Madrid vs Alaves game and the Renaissance fair going on- turned out to be a non-issue. Slept like babies, uninterrupted, with windows open. Great cafes/pubs nearby, and easy walking distance to even more in old town. Easy walking to train and metro too.”

“Hotel Dato is located within easy walking distance of the train station in Vitoria. The hotel is decorated in an ornate Art Deco/Art Noveau style and contains an extensive collection of antiques from those periods. The rooms are nothing special, but adequate for a one or two night stay. Hotel Dato is probably your best option if you have an early train ride out of Vitoria.”

“The Hotel Dato is ideally located in the very heart of the city, 5 min walking from Plaza de la Virgen Blanca and train station. The bathroom was fully equipped with everything needed - 3 towels, bathroom utensils, blow dryer. Wi-fi works very quickly.”
