“Owner couple were very friendly and helpful. Excellent English. The room was pristine and considerably larger than many on this trip. There was a wine fest and fireworks on that day with the festivities starting virtually out the front door. Location could not be better.”
“If you need a lot of help from staff, this may not be the right place, because the front desk is lightly staffed. But if you are looking for a well-located, clean and convenient spot with a certain kind of charm, this is it. The room was comfortable and clean. Castle Klopp sits just above the hotel, so it was a nice walk (with lots of steps) up to the castle and its great views of the Rhine. It was also in the center of town with instant access to shops, squares and sights. We arrived by the KD Line cruise which gets in at 8, so you do need to arrange for late arrival. We left by train which was a reasonable walk from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and it comes with the price of the room! The Cafe Konditorei has gorgeous baked goods, too.”

“It was a very nice stay although, my colleagues and I arrived late, they made it happen that we can Check ourself in. Room is nice, perfect for a couple of nights. Breakfast was great, many choices and very good Pastry / Bread / Rolls /.... what else to expact if you stay at a bakery / pastry store.”
