“i wrote a review last year and hoped my complaint would be taken on board..but no..the pillows are still rock hard.. Problem with air conditioner..not working . i think they switch off different units in order to save money. same thing happened last year. This time the guy on duty didnt have a clue..so no sleep and no cool air. Next morning the were magically able to switch it on. The staff in general are veryy sour . Was given a rickety old fan ..hopeless..Such a shame as beautiful building ,great location. Bathroom door wouldnt close,strange piece of bare pipework jutting out from wall into bath..shoddy. “The staff were extremely helpful, polite and obliging. There was a large range of buffet breakfast (although not cooked) which was great and huge range of teas and coffees! Also soya milk. Thoroughly enjoyable breakfasting in the beautiful courtyard. The hotel is in an absolutely excellent location if you need the centre of town. My room was very clean and shower had very good power even on 3rd floor.”
