“Everything was great! Very comfortable stay, considerate staff, great food! Lots of books in the town. Perfect for a weekend getaway. This is not about the hotel, but please be warned that getting to Bredevoort can be hard if you don't have a car. We arrived at Aalten by train, and wanted to take the bus. We waited for an hour for the bus before being informed that we had to call for the bus. Neither my travelling partner nor I had a phone on us, so we had to request a stranger to contact the hotel for us, and they very helpfully arranged for a taxi for us. While the hotel was awesome like that, it is something that we did not anticipate.”
