“We absolutely love Hotel Atalaia! The staff were great and the location was perfect in terms of the beach and the centre of town. Being able to rent bikes was great as it allowed us to explore the city with ease! The guys know the people who run the surf school also, and it was a great connection as we are keen surfers. I highly recommend anyone who comes to Antofagasta that they should stay here. One of the best place we have stayed on our 6 week trip so far 😁”

“Great hostel, excellent service from the staff and the owners, very comfortable bed and room, clean bathroom, the decoration is very beautiful and everything looked new and well organized. In addition, one day we need to leave early and they had prepared our breakfast. Another observation was after checkout, they also store our bags until the time we had to go to the airport.”

“The place is very nice. The room was perfect: very clean, enough space and the bed was huge for two persons. We had a private terrace at the room which we very liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even organised that we got our laundry washed. Furthermore was organised that we could have breakfast on our day of departure although we had to leave at 6.20 am. We would stay there at any time if we travel to Antofagasta again.”
“This is a fantastic little hotel. Everything new, clean and fresh. Comfy bed and great shower.The breakfast with fresh fruit juice, fresh coffee and scrambled eggs was by far the best we had after nearly 2 month travelling in Chile! The owners are superfriendly and cannot do enough to help. They gave us a lift into town and also made breakfast for us at 06:00 when we had to leave on an early bus.The location is also great very close to a choice of good restaurants and with a nice beach just across the main road.”

“Very nice room with a good sized terrace which we enjoyed. The building and fittings are all quite new and the common areas have lovely art work. The brothers who own the place are engaging and the staff are helpful. We were offered eggs along with cold cuts, cereal, bread, etc. and freshly made juice smoothies. The Hostal is a short walk to the beach, and many restaurants and bars.”
