“The rooms were excellent and well equipped with all the toiletries etc. The restaurant was superb one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Breakfast was buffet style at 5.50 euros but was excellent value with freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals a large selection of fruit, freshly baked rolls, toast, ham and cheese and salami. Choice of tea or freshly brewed coffee. Although not in the centre the no 5 bus stops outside and costs 1.4 euros into the old town. Underground secure parking was 8.5 euros but was better than leaving the car on the street.”
“Dinner was good as usual as was the local wine. It is a relaxed place to be except there is not a separate bar - one is served from the reception desk. There is an outside area to relax but it is subject to the weather.”

“I love this place, small, about 30 rooms, discreet and quite discerning but at an economical price. Nice restaurant for anything from a snack to a full meal all food is fresh, even breakfast there is a constant flow of fresh breads etc., coming out.”

“Good value, nice, large, modern design room with effective air con. Spacious, modern bathroom with large, excellent (Grohe) shower. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful with good sense of humour. Easy operation room safe. Secure, underground car park had easy access and reasonable charge. Continental style breakfast was excellent and very good value. We used the restaurant for evening meals both nights of our stay. It had excellent, good value, local dishes with generous portions; we shared starters. The suckling pig was particularly memorable for all the right reasons. The location was very good, with a bus stop outside for the centre; we had a taxi for four for Euro 12 for convenience. The TV had France 24 in English and BBC World which was unusual.”
