“Location is very good for us. It makes us to walking a lot but it is an advantage due to having a lot of food and wine every day. We have passed many many blocks of Arcachon to discover how amazing it is. There are some really good restaurants and best cabane to discover near by. Ask nice people at reception desk. Good location for exploring the area. Own parking is a big deal as Arcachon is extremely expensive got parking spaces The hotel itself is above average and it is much more than we expected for that money and 2 stars.”
“Although it was a very small room it was a very comfortable place to stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of Arcachon. The 20/25 minute walk might put off some, but for us it meant we were car free in the town centre chaos and able to get peace and quiet at the hotel. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, helpful and spoke VERY good English! The breakfast was really excellent too!”
“'Manon' the receptionist was wonderful, very helpful, even running outside in a thunderstorm to unlock the bike compound, when she saw us returning drenched on our bikes! Amazing variety of options for breakfast, and nice dining area. Good, reasonably spacious, well fitted out room. Handy for getting into Arcachon -- our bikes helped, but also about a dozen eating-places within a 5-10 minute walk”
“The walk to the Marina and town was approximately twenty minutes with excellent view of the marina and beach. The reception area provided all the information we requested. The room was clean and the standard maintained throughout our holiday. The breakfast buffet provided choice and ample food. The hotel location was ideal for walking to the town and touring the surrounding lakes and coast. The location ensured that we were driving opposite to the traffic flow and avoided the morning and evening traffic build up.”
“The bed was very comfortable - even for me as I am almost 2m tall. Breakfast was fantastic. Don't make plans for lunch - you won't need it!! The staff are on duty 24/7 so any problems can be resolved quickly. They seem to speak several European languages.”
