“Great location in that it is close enough to the Plaza Mayor et al but far enough away to avoid the crowds. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Service in the bar/cafeteria was good. ”

“Hotel Alcantara is in the business district of Caceres - a stiff walk to get to the Old City but convenient for restaurants and tapas bars! Good Wi-Fi and an acceptable breakfast. We were a little concerned about the parking but if you park in the road outside the hotel (on the blue lines) its free from 18h00 until 08h00 the next morning. Overall a pleasant stay in Caceres which is a very worthwhile city to visit especially the beautifully maintained World Heritage Site of the Old City.”
