What guests loved the most

“My daughter and I liked this hotel. It was very clean and the owners are perfectly charming and helpful. We would stay here again.”

, USA

“The whole family of the staff were very helpful and hospitable, the price was very modest”

, Australia

“The staff were very nice and kind. The room with private bathroom was fine. Breakfast was good and the value for money just perfect. We're thankful to Cusco Punku for finding this nice place for us as well as providing us with several nice tours.”

, Peru

“Hotel Ayllu is located on the high edge of town against a mountain and is peaceful and quiet. The family owned and run hotel is my favorite in Peru. Breakfast is always a great meal with fantastic, strong Peruvian coffee, eggs and many different kinds of fruit. The staff made sure I was warm at nights by placing an extra blanket on my bed. The owner put in a new tile floor and enclosed glass area in the breakfast area that is very nice. One of the reasons this hotel is a great find is the village of Urubamba, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is a transportation hub. Only a twenty minute taxi ride to the town of Ollantaytambo where the train to Machu Picchu is located. Urubamba has two very colorful market days per week that are a slice of real Andean, Incan and Quechua culture.”

, Peru

“Friendly helpful staff. 'Un-touristy' Urubamba quite different from other Sacred Valley towns, good location from which to visit Moray & Maras - advise getting bus then taxi to Moray, then walking back via Maras (approx 14km, 5hrs). Lovely hike.”

, Peru

“The owner killed a huge spider for us although she was afraid herself!!! The staff couldn't be friendlier!!!!”

, Peru

“I chose this location because it was above the main portion of Urubamba and was quiet. On request, the staff prepared and served me a special breakfast on fruit salad and juices because my doctors had placed me on a special diet. This required more work on their part but was happily done for me. This is a family home operation with the guest rooms on the two floors above. I was able to actually get to know, on a friendly and personal basis, the family that operates the hotel. Very kind and gracious people. I have been traveling and shooting wildlife photography in several countries in Latin America and I thought the atmosphere of this small hotel was great for me. It was also a very economic rate for the room.”

, Peru

“La familia que lleva el hostal es muy amable, nos recibieron con botella de agua y el desayuno estaba muy bien.”

, Spain

“O atendimento muito bom. O gerente muito solícito e gentl, nos deu muitas informações sobre a cidade é região de Cusco.”

, Peru

“Понравилось все! Прекрасный дом с садиком, чудесные виды из окна, тишина, свежий воздух, радушная хозяйка, прекрасная Урубамба. Немного далековато от центра, но прогулка по городу нам доставляла лишь удовольствие. А если не хочется идти, всегда можно взять мототакси.”
