We intended to stay through the hurricane, but Crystal River was threatened by Irma, and the governor ordered a mandatory evacuation. The hotel was prepared to let us stay, but we decided to leave. The staff was gracious and kind in every regard. The room was clean, with high ceilings and plenty of space. We will return when there is no hurricane!”
