“Location is good - it is far enough from the busy town but not too far to reach the entertainment. It is next to the ocean so we can enjoy the scenic ocean backdrop from the room.”
“The Holiday Inn at Bar Harbor Regency was nice but it was our second room (in 2 nights) due to a required change to our initial booking (as we needed to extend our stay and the initial hotel was not available). Parking was plentiful, the staff - though busy-were helpful and pleasant. The room was fine, and the view to the water very good. The grounds looked beautiful even if not all amenities were available to us.”

“It sat on beautiful ground and had a wonderful dining room. It was not warm enough to swim in the pool but it is a beautiful pool. I would go there again in a heartbeat. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were fantastic!”

“Loved the ocean view from our room. Saw several cruise ships every day from our balcony . Enjoyed sitting by the pool and loved the hot tub in the evening as we gazed at the sky. The location was great just minutes away from the entrance to Acadia National Park as well as the town of Bar Harbor.”
“Really great amenities, including heated pool and jacuzzi! The bar and restaurant onsite is great too, and we had a great time having cocktails and dinner after a long drive to the hotel from Boston. Hotel staff were wonderful, accommodating every request that we had during the stay. Would absolutely recommend to others, and will be back ourselves!”
“The view was nice and good restaurant. The room was in a building with three floors and no elevator. I l ow it is an old property but something g should be done about that. The front desk helped us up but we had to carry large suitcases down the stairs. We are strong and in our 70s but still very inconvenient. Not what you would expect from this price property. Refrigerator very low on floor and could hardy get open because it pushed against carpet .”
