“I booked the smallest room category without a window. Other reviewers claimed, that they could not even open their suitcase in this room, yet I could have easily put two big suitcases on the floor and opened them. The room was absolutely fine and the hotel even provided me with a free bottle of water everyday. Larger guests may have to book another room category, at 1,75m I could just fit into the bed and stretch normally.”
“Good value for money despite the small (Hong Kong style) room. Excellent location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent English speaking and courteous staff. Overall cleanliness. Featherdown quilt and pillows (!); good when the airconditioning has been set on low temperature by yourself. Firm mattress. Watercooker. Snacks, tea and coffee sachets available in the room. Clean airconditioning vents. Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, dental floss, showercap, shampoo, razorblade, hairdryer and razor cream available in bathroom. Japanese style toilet with all kinds of modern comfort stuff (warm toiletseat); western hotels could learn from this (especially handy in winter time when you need to go to the loo in the middle of a cold night). Since I was in a hurry for airport departure the staff managed to have a taxi ready for me in 5 minutes.”

“Efficient cleaning of room (clean after coming back from breakfast). Excellent service. Choice of 9 different breakfast sets with tea/coffee/orange juice/fruit (excellent value for money for NT130). Very safe by having to use the roomcard to get you to your room/floor. Plenty of American TV channels (CNN/CNBC/NBC/Bloomberg/HBO/Discovery, etc. but no BBC) Good airconditioning for cooling although a bit noisy. Water cooker/coffe/tea/sweet snacks in the room. Quiet room. Hard mattress. Soft pillow. Good English spoken by personnel. Staff organized a taxi for departure to the airport (about 1 hour trip) at 4.30 a.m. when there is only a bus available departing from Taipei Main station.”
