They knew our names as soon as we checked in and we were approached many times, by name, to ask how our stay was and if anything else could be done. The food was INCREDIBLE. We ate the exact same 3-course meal both nights of our stay because it was just so damn good. I'll be thinking about that pork belly for months... Breakfast was brilliant - loads of choice, cooked to perfection. I had told them it was our anniversary and they made it really special. There was a bottle of bubbly and plate of macarons in our room on arrival - so lovely and we really didn't expect it! Breathtaking woodland location that was totally unexpected as we hadn't done a huge amount of research before coming. Acres and acres of gorgeous grounds to walk through and lots of points of interest to structure your walk. We will absolutely be staying here again.”
