“This was one of the best places we stayed in our 5 weeks in Portugal. The historical building has a lot of character and is close to the center of town. The room was spacious and comfortable, and Rita at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. We were walking the Camino and she even had the kitchen open early so we could get an early start. “We knew the location was good based on the booking.com map, that the facility was well regarded and looked beautiful from other reviewers...yet we couldn't anticipate just perfect the total package turned out to be. Best location for sound sleep and quietness, as it is a few minutes' walk to the restaurants and squares (as in, three mins) so we weren't annoyed by the sounds of the city. Stunning, clean and friendly hotel. Restaurant staff are top of the line and willing to make anything work for guests, while the front desk staff love the city so much that they are brimming with ideas and energy about your visit.
