“The hotel is very new and was exceptionally clean and bright. We paid the supplement for breakfast and it was worthwhile as it was a nice breakfast. The reception gentleman was very friendly. We were also told that the Italian restaurant opposite would give a 20% discount on production of the hotel bill and they did which saved us €6.50”
“This is a simple, clean and friendly hotel akin to a Premier Inn in the UK. Being around 3.5 hours from Calais, It is in a great location for a stopover when travelling through France. The restaurants across the road are simple, family focussed chain places that offer a decent enough dinner, and the breakfast buffet offered by the hotel offers a good variety for a reasonable EUR7,50. The beds are comfy, and the rooms are always spotlessly clean. When all you need is somewhere to get your head down for the night, you can beat this Balladins hotel for convenience and value.”
“The location was great! Easy to find. The after hours manager/ staff was very friendly and helpful. We had stayed at this hotel previously without any problems, however, this time we arrived late and unable to check-in via the automated self check in machine so I phoned the number provided on the board and the man that answered came straight out to assist and offer help! Just what we needed after driving for 15 + hours in very hot weather, tired and with a disabled person.”
