“We needed somewhere to stay at short notice while traveling home through France. The owner, David, waited up for us and kept a look out for when we arrived just before 11pm. He showed us to our room and offered alternative rooms too. By the time we arrived the bar had closed but the owner kindly opened up and happily poured us very nice cold beers which was very welcome after the long journey! The Auberge is located in the centre of the sweet village and very easy to find. Although we didn't have time to stay for dinner the menu looked good and the proprietor used to be a chef so we are intending to return to try the food! Parking is off road and very secure and close to the entrance. The owner has a wonderful 2 year old perfectly behaved German Shepherd Alsation dog - very gentle with everyone including children. There are not many places I would recommend more highly than this accommodation. Thank you and see you again! Wendy & Nick”
