“The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There's a "semi-gastronomique" restaurant with a terrace inside the hotel. The food is a very good value for money (dish+dessert 29 eur, 3 courses 42 eur). Nice view on the lake from the terrace. The room was bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and they use a good quality bed linen. The hotel also provides bath robes which is great for a 3* place. The village of Soustons is within walking distance with the selection of shops and small restaurants. There's a bike hire in the village too. There are several walking/biking trails going from the village through the pine forest. The ocean is about 15 mins drive away.”

“Lovely auberge, right on the edge of Soustons Lake. Room with balcony with views of the lake ( the balcony runs along the side of the building and is shared). Very friendly and efficient welcome by the proprietors. Lovely shabby chic bedroom. Bathroom was large and offered a double sink, bath and shower. Bed was comfy with nice pillows and linens. Nice towels, dressing gowns and toiletries added a touch of luxury. Friendly and efficient staff at dinner and breakfast Breakfast was well served and we particularly enjoyed the fruit salad and yoghurt”
