“Very modern, chic rooms with a frequent and convenient tram link into Dresden centre. Good sized rooms. Breakfast OK but perhaps not up to the generous standard often found in Germany. Also very handy to walk through the woods to and along the riverside.”
“The good thing: friendly staff, clean, European style breakfast buffet, streetcar station in front of hotel, small but safe private parking in the back. The streetcar (tram) connection with the center is pretty fast 15 minutes or so. Buy a week or multi day (tourist) ticket in a station in the center. Near the “blue wonder bridge” a 15 Minute walk from the hotel, there is a Italian style restaurant/cafe which is far better the the hotel restaurant which is advised by the staff. There the serve pretty typical East German rather heavy food, not my thing.”

The location may not be suitable as a starting point to explore the city center, but the tram stops in front of the door (every 10 minutes). The tram brings you in 15 minutes to the altstadt. And at the reception, you can buy DVB (public transport) tickets.”

“This was obviously a high end location in Dresden. It was a beautiful old home converted into a hotel. Our suite was very comfortable. The parking was a little small in the backyard but we were able with the cooperation of other guests to get everyone accommodated. There was a laundromat not far away so we were able to get our laundry done. The internet was pretty good.”
