“The hotel is really nice, rooms have a very tasteful decoration, nice garden. Don't expect too much from the sauna but in total it is good value for money (you don't pay the price of a perfect spa hotel).”
“I just felt at home. The place is gorgeous and the staff is very nice.”
“A really nice, calming complex away from the busier road that it's on. Comfy bed!”
“Good bed and mattress. Good shower with strong water.”
“The staff is great (They are travelers by themselves). Regarding the peña in front of the hotel - if you sleep in the oldest part, you don't hear anything! The hotel has 2 parts: the "oldest" (built before 8 years - we stay there) and the "newest" (built before 6 months and in front of the peña). Tomas told me that in the nights sometimes there is noise from the peña (they stay until 2-4 am) so they put double glass windows in these rooms (they are really close to the peña). Both parts are in different complexes so you need to walk 30 mts on the street to go from one part to the other. We stayed in the "oldest" part - we slept excellent and did not hear noise at all! The disadvantage was that you need to walk to the newest in order to have breakfast. For us this did not represented an issue. Tomas also said that in the summer they will also serve breakfast in the oldest park. We highly recommend this hotel!”
“Very well located. A few blocks from main road. Staff absolutely great. A small hotel very well managed. Beautiful garden.”
“The hotel was fantastic and we cannot give them less than 10 points. We can recomend it to anyone.”
“There are so many things to like about this hotel. 10s across the board! Everything is well done. Thomas is extremely helpful providing dinner recommendations and suggestions during our stay. Beds and rooms are quite comfortable....good pillows, hot shower and space to relax. We would have liked to stay longer....much longer. The hotel is expanding and will more than double in size. I hope they are able to maintain the same personal feel they now have.....easier said than done Don't leave Tilcara without stopping by the Picadita for a meal....or two.”
“We loved this hotel. Facilities were great with a lovely little spa to relax at the end of the day and the staff could not have been more helpful with advice for the local area!”
“Very nice stay in Tilcara. Got great dinner recommendations from the staff. We had the feel of a luxury hotel but only paid for a modest one. We stayed in another place in Tilcara for one night, which had good ratings on lonely planet, tripadvisor etc - Al Sereno is much better! Highly recommended.”
